If you have already entered online, you will be sent an email next week to confirm your attendance or otherwise.
All entrants will also be sent a new Declaration to reflect the ACU updates reference Covid-19 measures that will be in place at the event, you WILL need to respond to this for your entry to be validated.
The Friday Test Day is still a 98Dba drive-by limit and there is no tolerance on this at the venue.
Obviously, the two days of racing will be at the usual ACU noise limit of 105Dba.
Due to the new Covid-19 advice, each rider will be restricted to 3 tickets for assistants and themselves. No spectators will be permitted unless government advice and circuit policies change prior to the event.
Junior riders will receive an additional ticket for their 2nd Parent or Legal Guardian.
PLEASE DO NOT try to circumvent this, as the venues have worked extremely hard with the local authorities to ensure that numbers are limited within the circuit grounds in order to enable responsible Social Distancing.
The entry will be restricted on numbers to make best use of paddock space and Paddock 1 will be reserved solely for those on the Garage Allocation List and the paddock service providers.
The Entry Form is still live here:- Donington Park - Race Entry
and as we are looking to be very likely to be the first ACU Road Race Meeting to run after the lockdown, I would urge our regular riders (you are all included on this email) to complete the entry form without delay.
The Friday 98Dba Test Day Form is here:- Donington Park - 98Dba Test Day
Our system does not accept duplicate entries, so if you are not sure whether you have entered already it is perfectly safe to resubmit if you wish (any new entry details will automatically overwrite old details, so you may use this facility to update sponsor details/machine details etc).
The Garage Day remains on Tuesday 7th July at 9.00am by the standard telephone numbers – 01509 809524 & 01509 809530. It will be strictly 2 riders per garage, unless those riders are from the same family household where 3 riders may be permitted to share.
At this time it is understood that overnight camping will be permitted, but parking up and social interaction with neighbouring teams must be done in accordance with any instructions issued by Thundersport GB and/or MSV Donington Park.
Full information will be available approximately 3 weeks before the event, due to the ever changing situation with regard to government advice and regulations.
Our remaining meetings are envisaged as also running to their original scheduled dates, but the Entry Forms have currently been suspended and will be reactivated 5 weeks prior to the event taking place. This is purely so that we can update any Risk Assessments / Method Statements / Legal Paperwork in the light of anything we learn from this first event under the "New Normal".
Obviously, all of the above is subject to the UK government being on course with the easing of the current restrictions (including overnight camping).
THANK YOU FOR – Being Safe – Being Patient – and above all, Being Hopeful
Best wishes
Dave Stewart - ThundersportGB Race Director
