Class Description:- Formula 600 racing is a slightly less restrictive way of racing a tuned 600cc machine than the incredibly expensive Supersport class. Rather than having to buy an approved race kit from the manufacturer, it is possible for a tuner to modify the engines of these 600cc sportsbikes using gas flow technology and reprofiling camshafts to obtain more power at less cost. Many ex-Supersport machines also find their way into this class and the two different methods of obtaining the performance are very well matched. |
