Classes 2012
Listed Below are our Classes for 2011 to help you decide exactly where your bike fits in, be it a Kawasaki ZXR400, a Honda Hornet, a Suzuki SV650 or even an unfaired Supermoto machine. Whatever modern bike you've got, we've probably got a class that you can compete successfully in!

Thundersport GP1 - Is for large capacity machines up to 1100cc 4-troke, 750cc 2-stroke and Rotary Engines with up to 3 rotors. There is no minimum weight for 2-stroke machines, but 4-stroke machines must be 125kg or more at post race controls.
Superstock 1000 - Is for non-tuned 4-stroke production based machines in the following capacities; 1000cc 4 cylinder, 1100cc 3 cylinder and 1200cc 2 cylinder to current MCRCB Superstock regulations EXCEPT there is no control tyre (any road legal tyre of any brand may be used).
Supertwin (650) - Is a class for 650cc water-cooled and 820cc air-cooled twin cylinder 4-strokes.
Pre-National Sport 600 - Is a class for 600cc 4-strokes in either Formula, Supersport or Superstock specifications, limited to riders who have yet to obtain a National Licence.
Minitwins - Minitwin machines to www.minitwins.co.uk regulations also have their own stand alone championship and also score points inthe Thundersport GP2 Championship giving them a chance to contest two championships at every meeting.
Golden Era Superbikes - Is a class for essentially pre-2000 Superbikes of 750cc (4-cylinder), 950cc (3-cylinder) or 1000cc (2-cylinder) with certain other 2000-2003 models included.
Formula 600 - Is for tuned 4-stroke production based machines in the following capacities; 600cc 4 cylinder, 675cc 3 cylinder and 750cc 2 cylinder to current ACU Formula regulations.
Superstock 600 - Is for non-tuned 4-stroke production based machines in the following capacities; 600cc 4 cylinder, 675 3 cylinder and 750cc 2 cylinder to current MCRCB Superstock regulations EXCEPT there is no control tyre (any road legal tyre of any brand may be used).
Thundersport 500 - Is a class for parralell twin 4-stroke machines in a closely controlled formula that has evolved from the old Honda CB500 Cup regulations, visit www.cb500racing.co.uk for complete up to date information and news.
Streetfighter Class - A championship divided into 4 different capacity classes for naked machines and Supermoto spec bikes. Flat bars and no streamlining mark this class out as being something completely different. (Now including Streetfighter Xtreme)
Aprilia RRV 450 Challenge - Is a GP type class for Aprilia twin cylinder machines which began life as Supermotard bikes. Aprilia Superteens - Is the best youth championship in the world. Utilising near standard Aprilia RS125 Euro 2 specification machines to a very closely controlled formula, it attracts young riders from all over the world.
Sound of Thunder - Single cylinder, Twin cylinder & Triple cylinder 4-stroke machines are all included in this category.
